The Jezzine Hospital was commissioned by the Ministry of Public Health in collaboration with the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR) to expand healthcare services in the region.

The facility has a total built-up area of approximately 5,000 m² and provides 40 inpatient beds within a four-story building designed to deliver efficient, modern medical care.

The entrance level accommodates the main reception area, administrative offices, emergency department, radiology unit, and medical laboratory, ensuring easy access to the hospital's primary clinical services.

The lower level houses the operating theatres, maternity and delivery units, and the hospital's technical and engineering services, providing the essential infrastructure required for day-to-day operations.

The upper two floors contain 20 patient rooms, each designed to accommodate two beds, together with specialized medical departments, including a neonatal care unit, a burns treatment unit, and a dialysis center.

The new hospital building is connected to the existing hospital via a pedestrian bridge at the first-floor level, allowing seamless circulation between the two facilities. The original building has been repurposed to accommodate outpatient clinics and physicians' consulting offices.

The project also includes dedicated parking facilities for medical staff, complemented by a larger visitor parking area to ensure convenient access for patients and their families.

Designed to contemporary healthcare standards, the hospital combines functional planning, efficient circulation, and patient-centered spaces to provide a high-quality medical environment that serves the needs of the Jezzine community.
